Architecture
RH+’s architecture service covers new-build projects, urban planning, building refurbishment and conservation, and accessibility plans, primarily in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Each proposal is developed through six stages: listening and diagnosis, reading the place, concept, development, planning and consents, and construction supervision, with timescales and deliverables defined from the start of the appointment. We believe every project should reflect its surroundings, culture and the aspirations of those who inhabit it. We therefore work with authentic materials, construction solutions suited to the island’s Atlantic climate and sustainability principles that extend the useful life of buildings. The team works at scales ranging from single-family homes to hospitality developments, including Hotel Alto Lido, Savoy Residence Monumentalis and Calheta Hills, all featured in RH+’s public portfolio.
